Alexander P. Brock, MS, LPC

Licensed Professional Counselor

My name is Alex, and I’m glad you’re here. I provide telehealth counseling services for residents of Oregon, offering a compassionate space to explore and grow.

I aim to help individuals connect with their most authentic selves through self-exploration and identity work. I meet my clients where they are, providing empathy and understanding while encouraging them to embrace their truest selves—navigating the inevitable highs and lows that life brings.

To support self-growth and evolution, I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Existential Therapy, and Humanistic Therapy. Together, we’ll tailor our work to your unique needs and goals.

I look forward to the opportunity to support you on your journey.

Education and Training

Licensed with the Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists (#C5601); I hold a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in American Sign Language Studies and a Master of Science (MS) degree in Rehabilitation Counseling - both completed at Western Oregon University.
Major coursework has included: Professional Counseling and Ethical Practice, Social and Cultural Foundations of Counseling, Counseling and Helping Relationships, Psychopharmacology, Human Growth and Development, Theory and Techniques of Counseling, Group Counseling and Group Work, and Diagnosis/Treatment Planning of Mental Disorders.

A Humanistic Approach

I utilize my 7+ years of training and set of specific therapeutic skills to treat the root of issues through humanistic therapy and drop the medical model that often forces clients to fit into a box versus being seen as a human with a unique human experience.

“The business of business is relationships; the business of life is connection.”
