Kristy Regan, MSW, LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Hi, I’m Kristy.
I strive to create a safe, comfortable, and welcoming space. It’s my honor to walk beside you as you relate to your past, explore where you are now, and create your future. I work from a strengths-based perspective and seek a supportive collaboration in an inclusive, anti-oppressive framework and welcome and respect all people. I work with adults in areas including childhood trauma, PTSD, grief, chronic illness, sexual assault and life transitions.
For those who have experienced trauma, grief and/or ongoing illness, the body can sometimes feel like the enemy and a dangerous place to be. Through somatic practices and talk therapy, I look to support people in feeling at peace with themselves and understanding the ways the body communicates and strives to be our ally.
I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Tulane University and my Master’s of Science in Nutrition from National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM). As a previous nutritionist, I authored three educational cookbooks and worked with clients on therapeutic diets and disordered eating, with a specific focus in the gastrointestinal health realm. I am also trained as a Feldenkrais practitioner and Embodied Life Teacher.
